We organize snowmobile experiences in Gudauri: calm scenic rides for beginners, couples and families, plus freeride programs for experienced riders who understand powerful machines and deep snow. Meeting at Café Bar PILOT (New Gudauri), transfer to the starting point, a mandatory safety briefing and guided riding are all included. The season runs from December 1 to May 1, sometimes until May 10, depending on snow and weather.

Age guideline for all activities — up to 70; older guests should consult their doctor and refrain if in doubt. Parents or guardians are responsible for children; if a child behaves unsafely for themselves or the group, the instructor may remove them from the activity with the full payment retained.
Prices are indicative, shown in GEL, and may change with the season — the manager confirms the final amount for your dates and party on WhatsApp. A deposit secures the booking and is deducted from the price; bad weather = free reschedule.

A guided snowmobile ride in the mountains of Gudauri, accompanied by the operator's team. The scenic format suits beginners, couples and families with no experience; freeride is only for experienced riders who understand powerful machines and deep snow.
Scenic is a calm ride at 10–30 km/h (about 40 max) on an approved route, up to 2 people per snowmobile, priced per person. Freeride is a powerful performance machine, 1 rider = 1 snowmobile, no passengers, deep snow strictly behind the lead rider, minimum 1 hour, priced per snowmobile.
Scenic — 10, 20, 30, 45 or 60 minutes of riding. Freeride — 1 to 5 hours; less than 1 hour cannot be booked. Allow extra time for the transfer from Café Bar PILOT, gear fitting and the safety briefing.

The route, zone, pace or duration may be adjusted, and the ride postponed or cancelled — the on-site team decides purely for safety reasons. If cancelled due to weather, we first offer a free reschedule; if that is impossible, the deposit is refunded minus bank fees within 5–10 business days.
Not for scenic: you get a control and safety briefing before the start and ride at a calm pace behind the lead. Freeride requires confident snowmobile experience and good physical condition; without it, start with scenic — freeride lessons with instructors can be discussed afterwards.
A driving license is not required. An ID may be requested before participation — bring a document and be ready to confirm your booking details.
Family format — children from age 5 together with parents (10–30-minute tours); driving — from 16. Weight limit — up to 150 kg per snowmobile (1–2 people together); freeride — up to 110 kg (one rider); it is a safety requirement, so message us in advance if you are close to it.
Dress as for skiing: thermal base layer (no cotton), fleece, a windproof warm jacket and pants, tall insulated boots, gloves, a thin hat under the helmet and goggles. Wind chill on the move is strong, so dress warmer than for a walk; some of the machines have heated elements.
No problem: we can help arrange rental of helmets (including with visor), goggles, warm gloves, winter jackets and pants, and deep-snow boots. Tell us and give your sizes when booking on WhatsApp — gear rental is not included in the ride price.
Every ride starts with a mandatory on-site briefing: machine control, route logic and rules. Key points: follow the team's instructions, keep at least 20 m between snowmobiles, no overtaking without a clear command, no racing or drifting, keep scenic sleds out of deep snow, and on freeride follow the lead rider only.
Included: availability check, booking and slot confirmation, format coordination, transfer from Gudauri / New Gudauri from Café Bar PILOT to the start point, safety briefing and guided riding with the team. Not included: personal insurance, gear rental, intercity transfer to Gudauri, meals and bank fees.
Current prices by format are in the "Formats & prices" block above. Deposit: family snowmobile — 90 GEL per person; freeride — 300 GEL. It secures the booking and is part of the price; the balance is paid on site. In bad weather or a safety cancellation — a free reschedule, or a refund minus bank fees and services already provided (5–10 business days). No-show or guest-initiated cancellation — the deposit is not refunded.

If the guest cancels, arrives late or does not show up, the deposit is generally non-refundable; being more than 15 minutes late risks losing the slot. If the team cancels for weather or safety, you get a free reschedule or, if that is impossible, a deposit refund minus transfer fees. Exact terms are stated in the invoice.
All programs start from Café Bar PILOT, New Gudauri (Loft 1). Transfer from the café to the start point is included; arrive 15–30 minutes before your start time. Intercity transfer to Gudauri is not included — it can be arranged separately.
Yes, at the stops — the guide will show safe spots for photos. While riding keep both hands on the handlebars: keep your phone in an inside pocket (batteries drain fast in the cold) and mount an action camera only on a secure helmet or sled mount.
Snowmobiling involves vibration and bumps, so riding is not recommended during pregnancy or with back, neck or heart problems or recent injuries — consult your doctor and tell us in advance. Alcohol and drugs: zero tolerance — refusal on site without refund.
Personal insurance is not included but strongly recommended: your policy should cover snowmobile / motorsport / outdoor activities in Georgia and third-party liability. Checking the scope of coverage and exclusions is the participant's responsibility.
The participant is materially responsible for damage caused through their fault — bodywork, skis, suspension, track, mechanical parts. Ignoring the briefing increases that responsibility, which is why insurance with liability coverage is recommended.
Booking and coordination on WhatsApp are in English and Russian. The language of the on-site briefing is confirmed at booking — tell us which you prefer.
It is not a free rental: movement is organized and coordinated by the operator's team — a lead rider opens the route and stops happen only at agreed points. SkyAtlantida organizes, coordinates and books; the ride itself is carried out by independent licensed operators.
Scenic is a calm seated ride with no special fitness needed: hold the bars relaxed, feet on the running boards, lean gently into turns. Freeride is demanding — standing work with a heavy machine in deep snow. Layers and proper boots keep you warm; bring hand warmers for longer rides.
