About the flight

This format suits guests who want a more active flight: spirals, wing-overs and other elements are performed only in suitable weather and with the passenger's experience in mind. A mandatory briefing precedes every take-off.

With enough rising air the landing is near the launch. If there is not enough lift to climb, the flight ends at an alternative landing site and our vehicle returns you to the launch. If you prefer the calmest possible flight, tell the manager in advance and we will suggest another programme.

Aerobatics: programme details

This advanced tandem paragliding flight is designed for guests who wish to experience a more dynamic flying style under professional supervision. The flight may include optional dynamic flight maneuvers, performed exclusively by certified tandem pilots and only when weather and safety conditions allow.

We guarantee our guests:

Important! With sufficient strength of the ascending air currents, landing is carried out at the launch site. In case of insufficient updrafts, in order to gain the required height, a flight will be made to a secondary landing area. In this case, the passenger will be delivered to the starting point by SkyAtlantida club vehicles.

All dynamic elements are optional, pilot-controlled, and performed under the same safety standards as standard tandem flights.

What are dynamic flight maneuvers in tandem paragliding?

Dynamic flight maneuvers in tandem paragliding refer to controlled changes in flight direction and trajectory performed by a certified tandem pilot. These maneuvers are used to make the flight more engaging while remaining within approved safety limits. All maneuvers are performed only by experienced tandem pilots, are fully pilot-controlled, and depend on weather conditions, altitude, and passenger comfort. The passenger does not participate in piloting and may request a calm, scenic flight at any time.

Features of paragliding with dynamic maneuvers in Georgia

The start is carried out in the vicinity of the Cross Pass or the resort of Gudauri.
To perform dynamic flight maneuvers, the pilot gains additional altitude when weather conditions permit.
The duration of the flight with aerobatics is approximately 15-25 minutes.
Length of the route - 4 km.
We start at an altitude of 2100 m - 2750 m, land in the Aragvi canyon, on the pass or in the Gudauri resort at an altitude of 1560 m - 2300 m (it all depends on weather conditions).

The program is available from 16 April to 4 December. The price of the paragliding flight with optional dynamic maneuvers is 599 GEL.

Flights are operated by licensed pilots with mountain experience; gear is checked and a briefing is given before every take-off; we fly only in suitable weather. Questions about the “Aerobatics” flight

Do I need training or experience?

No. It is a tandem flight: the pilot controls the wing while you enjoy the views. There is a short briefing before take-off; the gear is fitted and checked on site.

How long does the whole thing take?

up to 90 minutes from the meeting at Café Bar PILOT: settling up and choosing the format, transfer to the launch, briefing, 15–25 minutes in the air, landing and the transfer back.

Can children and older guests fly?

Children aged 5–16 fly accompanied by parents or legal guardians. Guests aged 60+ need a medical certificate. Passenger weight is 25–125 kg.

What if the weather turns bad?

We fly only in suitable conditions. If the weather says no, we reschedule your slot to the nearest window free of charge; if rescheduling is impossible, we refund the deposit (payment-system fees are withheld).

How do I book and how much do I pay upfront?

Write on WhatsApp or Telegram: date, number of guests and time. The manager confirms the slot and sends an invoice for a 95 GEL / €35 deposit per slot. The balance is paid on the day, on site, in cash (GEL) or by card.

What should I wear?

Closed shoes, a windbreaker or jacket, warm clothes in winter. It is cooler and windier at altitude. The helmet is included; a warm flight suit (95 GEL) and gloves (20 GEL) are available for an extra fee.

Will there be photos and video?

An HD 1920×1080 video of your flight is included. Professional photos, 4K/5K, 360° and drone filming are optional extras you can add on site.
