Magic of Kakheti: A Two-Day Private Tour

Couples, families, friends and small groups of up to 4 who value a private format, comfort, culture, wine and nature without haste. It suits anyone who wants to see Kakheti in more depth than a day trip allows.

2 days / 1 night, approximately 30–34 hours from departure to return. Route: Old & New Shuamta — Ikalto — Alaverdi — Telavi (dinner and overnight) — Telavi museum complex — Tsinandali — scenic countryside roads. Mileage is confirmed at booking.

Departure is from Tbilisi with pick-up at your hotel or address. Departure and return times are agreed in advance and can be adjusted to your pace on request.

Comfortable private transport, a local guide, a carefully planned route, coordination of timing and stops, help choosing overnight accommodation and booking support before the tour.

Meals and tastings (unless confirmed separately), entrance tickets for the chosen programme, personal expenses, activities outside the agreed itinerary; the third-day extension costs +499 GEL.

1099 GEL per tour for 1–2 guests and 1299 GEL for 3–4 guests; the third day is an extra 499 GEL. A deposit of 100 EUR per group secures the booking and is deducted from the tour price; payment details are sent after confirmation.

The balance is paid in cash on the tour day — to your driver or at Café Bar PILOT, depending on where the tour starts. The deposit can be paid by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, bank transfer or Bank of Georgia. Prices are in GEL only.

Only your party: a comfortable vehicle for 1–4 guests, no strangers. Transport and guiding are provided by licensed partner drivers and guides; SkyAtlantida organises and coordinates the trip.

The overnight is in Telavi or nearby, depending on the accommodation format you choose. We help you pick an option for your budget; the accommodation price and terms are confirmed at booking.

It depends on the agreed programme: the basic logistics include the evening in Telavi, while tasting and dinner are confirmed separately before booking. On request we add a wine-focused format with extra tasting stops.

Kakheti is the home of qvevri wine: it ferments and ages in clay vessels buried in the ground, so amber whites are the norm here. Drink water between glasses, don’t skip the snacks and leave the driving to your driver.

Seasonality is not specified on the page — date availability is confirmed at booking. The route and timing may change due to weather or road conditions; in bad weather the tour is rescheduled free of charge.

Comfortable shoes, layered clothing for the season, water, sun protection in summer, your passport for check-in, a phone charger and a small overnight bag. Some cash in GEL is handy for tickets, tastings and farm purchases.

Yes: covered shoulders and knees for everyone, and a headscarf for women (usually available at the entrance, but your own is more convenient). The guide will tell you where photography is allowed.

Yes, children travel with their parents — the private format lets us adapt the pace and stops to your family. A child seat is available on request at booking. Kids enjoy the Tsinandali park, museums and views while adults take the tastings at an easy pace.

Guiding is available in English and Russian. State your preferred language at booking so we can match the right guide.

Yes, the programme can be adapted by stops, pace, accommodation and extra points. On request we add tastings, horseback riding, ATVs, buggies, paragliding, hiking or skydiving (summer, subject to confirmation) — these are booked and paid separately.

Yes. The third day — the Kakheti Escape — costs +499 GEL: an overnight in Telavi or Sighnaghi, sunrise over Kakheti, more wine, local cuisine and lesser-known spots at an unhurried pace.

The deposit is non-refundable if you cancel after confirmation, no-show, or arrive so late that the tour cannot start as scheduled. If the tour is cancelled by the organiser due to unsafe weather or operational reasons, it is rescheduled free of charge; if rescheduling is impossible, the deposit is refunded minus payment-system fees within 5–10 business days. Message us on WhatsApp with your preferred dates, number of guests, trip format and your name. We confirm the details, propose an itinerary, send deposit instructions after confirmation and then share the agreed plan, timing and tips. We reply daily 09:00–21:00 (GMT+4), usually within ~30 minutes.
