For the 45-minute ride the summer start is usually Kobi and the cold-season start is Arsha; for the 3–4 and 5–6 hour tours the main point is Arsha, with Kobi available on request depending on weather. Come only to the confirmed point and time, 15–30 minutes before the start.
You get a calm, trained horse matched to your comfort level. Before setting off there is a short briefing: seat and posture, calm pace, distance between horses and how to behave around the animal. The ride starts only once you confirm the rules are clear.

Age guideline for all activities — up to 70; older guests should consult their doctor and refrain if in doubt. Parents or guardians are responsible for children; if a child behaves unsafely for themselves or the group, the instructor may remove them from the activity with the full payment retained.
Prices are indicative, shown in GEL, and may change with the season — the manager confirms the final amount for your dates and party on WhatsApp. A deposit secures the booking and is deducted from the price; bad weather = free reschedule.

An accompanied horseback ride through the Kazbegi region near Gudauri at a calm pace — it is about scenery and atmosphere, not speed. It suits couples, families, friends and solo travellers; the 45-minute format works even if you have never been on a horse.
45 minutes is a short loop near the start for a first taste (329 GEL). 3–4 hours is a full ride with open sections and Kazbegi panoramas — the 45-minute page describes it as the Truso Valley route (669 GEL). 5–6 hours is the longest route along mountain trails with a gentle climb and wide valleys, a full mountain day (from 869 GEL).
Start with 45 minutes — the gentlest format without a long load. The 3–4 hour tour suits you if you are comfortable sitting in the saddle for a few hours; choose 5–6 hours when you are ready for a full day and want to see the region in depth. After 2–3 hours a first-timer's leg muscles may feel it the next day — that is normal.
Not for 45 minutes: the horse is matched to your level and everything is explained before the start. For 3–4 and 5–6 hours extensive experience is not required either, but you should be able to sit calmly in the saddle for a long time; mention your experience when booking so the format and pace can be matched.
Year-round. From 1 May to 30 October rides run 08:00–20:00, from 1 November to 30 April 10:00–18:00. In summer the 45-minute ride usually starts in Kobi, in the cold season in Arsha; the long tours are based in Arsha.
In the mountains the decision follows actual conditions: the route, pace, stops or starting point may be adjusted. If conditions are unsafe, the ride is rescheduled free of charge or the deposit is refunded minus bank fees within 5–10 working days.
From age 2 — in a special child carrier with an adult (if the adult sits confidently in the saddle); from 6 — on their own horse with parental permission. Weight limit — up to 120 kg; it is a safety requirement, so message us in advance if you are close to it.
Long trousers without thick inner seams, closed comfortable shoes (no sandals) and layers — mountain temperatures change quickly. In winter add a warm jacket, gloves and a hat; warm clothing, footwear and glasses can be arranged in advance via the ski school and rental page.
Sunscreen, a hat or sunglasses, a small bottle of water and your phone in a zipped pocket. Large backpacks and loose dangling items get in the way in the saddle — leave extras in the car. Food and drinks are not included on the long tours, so bring a snack.
Before the start you learn the seat, the calm pace, the distance between horses and how to behave around the animal; the ride begins once you confirm everything is clear. The essentials: follow instructions, no sudden movements or shouting, never change the pace on your own and keep your distance.
A helmet is mandatory and included — we provide it on site before the briefing.
Included: booking coordination, a prepared horse, basic briefing, guide support and the ride of your chosen length. Not included: transfer to the meeting point, food and drinks, personal insurance, professional photo/video and personal expenses.
Current prices by format are in the "Formats & prices" block above. Deposit: 210 GEL per horse. It secures the booking and is part of the price; the balance is paid on site. In bad weather or a safety cancellation — a free reschedule, or a refund minus bank fees and services already provided (5–10 business days). No-show or guest-initiated cancellation — the deposit is not refunded.
Message WhatsApp +995 551 355 000 with the riders' names, date and preferred time, format, number of people and whether you need a transfer. We confirm availability, send a deposit invoice and, once paid, a confirmation with the meeting point and time. We reply daily 09:00–21:00 (GMT+4).
If the ride is cancelled due to weather or unsafe conditions you get a free reschedule or a deposit refund minus bank fees and any services already rendered (5–10 working days). Cancellation on your side follows the general terms and refund policy; the earlier you tell us, the easier it is to move the date. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may cost you the slot.
Transfer from your hotel in Kazbegi or Gudauri to Arsha/Kobi and back — on request: 179 GEL per car for up to 2 people, 199 GEL for up to 4, 249 GEL for up to 6. The car picks you up at the hotel, brings you to the location, waits for the whole ride and returns you to the same point (or elsewhere by arrangement). If pick-up and drop-off points differ, the price is confirmed at booking.
Phone photos are fine at stops and whenever the guide allows — keep the phone in a zipped pocket and never let go of the reins for a shot. Professional photo/video is available on request at +149 GEL per person.
The format is one rider per horse — riding double is not offered. Solo travellers, couples and groups are all welcome: we agree the group size and number of horses in advance, and the deposit is paid per horse.
Riding under the influence is prohibited. Horseback riding is not suitable if you have a condition affecting safe participation; if you are pregnant or have back or heart issues, consult a doctor first and tell us in advance. The final admission decision is made by the provider on the day.
Insurance is not included but strongly recommended: get a travel policy that covers horseback riding and check its territory and exclusions. Riding without cover is your own responsibility.

No. The pace is set by the safety of the route, the group and the horses, not by an individual rider's wish. Speeding up on your own, separating from the group or trying to run the ride your way can end the ride.
