Summer

☀️ Summer · 16 April – 4 December

Summer flights run only in sunny weather, main departures 11:30–16:00; 09:00–11:00 and up to 18:00 — on request. The Aragvi Canyon excursion flies mornings and evenings, and all day in cloudy weather.

❄️ Winter · 5 December – 15 April

The winter season starts with the Gudauri cable car. Departures: every hour 10:00–16:00, from 1 March from 09:00; Winter Canyon VIP — 09:00 (from 1 March), 10:00, 11:00 and 14:00–17:00. The ride to the launch is by ski lift or snowmobile. Meet at Café Bar PILOT in advance; for the last flights — no later than 50 minutes before the gondola closes (gondola until 17:00 → meet by 16:10 at the latest).

🛞 Motor flights · 1 May – 10 November

Not running at the moment. We usually fly in Poti (spring–autumn); flights there are currently prohibited. You can fly a paraglider in Gudauri instead.

Paratrike and PPG do not depend on thermals or terrain: wheeled or motorised launch, daily in suitable weather.

Paragliding flights: what guests ask

Do I need any training?

No. A tandem flight needs no experience: the pilot flies the wing, there is a short briefing before take-off, and the gear is provided and checked on site.

How do I choose a flight?

Go by airtime and season: for a first time — the Express flight (summer) or Winter Adventure; more time — Standard sightseeing or Winter Fairy Tale; adrenaline — aerobatics; the longest — Cross-country sightseeing. The format is finalised when we meet — by the weather and your preferences.

When is the season?

Summer flights run from 16 April to 4 December, winter flights from 5 December to 15 April (the winter start depends on the cable car). The Aragvi Canyon excursion flies all year round, motor flights from 1 May to 10 November (not running now).

What about the weather?

Summer flights run only in sunny daytime weather; the canyon excursion also flies in cloudy weather. If conditions are unsuitable — a free reschedule to the nearest window; if that is impossible — a deposit refund (payment-system fees are withheld).

How do I book and pay?

Passenger 25–125 kg; from 80 kg a surcharge of +100 / +150 / +250 GEL, 110–125 kg only with pilot approval. Children aged 5–16 fly with parents or legal guardians, guests aged 60+ with a medical certificate.

Where do we meet and how long does it take?

At Café Bar PILOT (New Gudauri, Loft 1). The whole programme takes 50 to 120 minutes depending on the flight: settling up, transfer to the launch, briefing, flight, landing and the transfer back.

What should I bring?

Closed shoes, a windbreaker, warm clothes in winter; it is cooler at altitude. Phone and camera are optional: an HD video of the flight is included, and photos, 4K, 360° and drone can be added on site.

Can I give a flight as a gift?

Yes, a gift certificate for the chosen programme is valid for 12 months; the recipient books the date.
