Couples, friends, families and small groups of up to 4 who want to see Kazbegi at a relaxed pace — no big groups, no overloaded schedule. Ideal if you value panoramas, photo stops and smooth logistics.

The standard format is 5–7 hours (one-day tour). An extended overnight itinerary of 30+ hours is also available. The driving distance is not published and is confirmed at booking.

From Gudauri. The default meeting point is Café Bar PILOT, New Gudauri, Loft 1 (Plus Code FF9V+Q7). Tell us your preferred pickup location when booking and the manager will confirm it.

There is no fixed start time — it is confirmed at booking based on the season, daylight hours and your pace. An early start usually pays off: Mount Kazbek is more often clear in the morning and can cloud over by midday.

A comfortable private car, an English-speaking driver-guide and stops at every route point: Friendship Arch, Jvari Pass and spring, Arsha Waterfall, Kazbek viewpoints, Gergeti Trinity Church. Plus booking organisation and coordination by the SkyAtlantida team. Seasonally and optionally — bathing in mountain rivers, waterfalls and a mineral-water pool.

Meals, drinks and personal expenses are paid separately — there are Georgian restaurants along the route and your guide will suggest where to stop. All add-on activities (ATV, buggy, horse riding, snowmobile, paragliding, rafting, hiking) are booked and paid separately. Any entrance fees at route sites, if applicable, are confirmed at booking.

599 GEL per car for 1–2 people and 649 GEL for 3–4 people. The optional extension (Darial Gorge, Gveleti Waterfalls, extra viewpoints) or an overnight format is +499 GEL. All prices are in GEL.

Yes — a deposit of 150 GEL / 50 EUR secures your booking and date; it is deducted from the tour price. The balance is paid in cash on the tour day — to your driver or at Café Bar PILOT, depending on where the tour starts. The deposit can be paid by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, bank transfer or Bank of Georgia.

It is a private tour for your party only — 1 to 4 guests, no strangers. You travel in a comfortable private car with a driver-guide; the exact vehicle depends on the date and is confirmed at booking.

The tour runs year-round. In winter the Georgian Military Highway and Jvari Pass can close due to snow and avalanche risk — the guide/carrier makes the go/no-go call on safety grounds. If the road is closed, the tour is rescheduled with no loss of deposit.

Layers and a windproof jacket — mountains are cool even in summer and the weather changes fast; comfortable shoes for viewpoints; sunglasses, sunscreen, water and snacks. In winter — warm waterproof boots with good grip, a hat and gloves. Bring some cash for lunch: not every mountain café takes cards.

It is a working church: shoulders and knees must be covered, and women need a headscarf. Scarves and wrap skirts are usually available to borrow at the entrance, but your own are more convenient. In winter the paths around the church can be icy — wear shoes with good grip.

No: the road up to the church is paved, and on the tour you drive up. If you would like to walk part of the way, discuss it with your guide on the spot — weather and time permitting.

Yes, children are welcome with their parents — the private car and relaxed pace suit families well. Child seats are available on request when booking. Bring snacks and something for motion sickness — parts of the road are winding.

Guiding is available in English and Russian. Let us know your preferred language when booking so the manager can assign the right guide.

Yes — stop timing and locations can be adjusted to your preferences, the season and the weather. Two ready formats: relaxed (more time for views and photos) or intensive (more stops, faster pace). For +499 GEL we add Darial Gorge and Gveleti Waterfalls or turn the trip into an overnight format; paragliding, ATV, buggy, horse riding and other activities are booked separately.

The tour runs in any weather except unsafe conditions: if the road is closed or conditions are dangerous, we reschedule free of charge. If rescheduling is impossible, the deposit is refunded minus payment-system fees (5–10 business days). Note that Kazbek is sometimes hidden by clouds — not a reason to cancel, but an early start improves your chances of a clear view.

The deposit is non-refundable if you cancel after confirmation, no-show, or arrive so late that the tour cannot start. It is refunded if the tour is cancelled due to weather, safety or operational reasons on the organiser's side; if the road is closed, you get a free reschedule. The Georgian Military Highway is winding in places, especially on the climb to Jvari Pass. If you are prone to motion sickness, take medication beforehand, sit in the front and watch the road. On a private tour you can stop at any time, and the guide makes regular viewpoint stops anyway.

Seasonally and optionally — yes: the programme allows bathing in mountain rivers, waterfalls and a mineral-water pool. Bring swimwear and a towel — the water is cold.
