FAQ

Tours in Georgia: what guests ask

Are the tours private or group?

Private: your own vehicle, your own driver-guide and a route built for your group. You never depend on someone else’s schedule.

How do I book a tour?

Message us on WhatsApp with dates, group size and what you want to see. The manager suggests a route and price; a deposit holds the booking.

Do you pick up from hotels or the airport?

Yes — we pick you up from your hotel in Tbilisi or Gudauri, or from Tbilisi airport, and bring you back. Timing is up to you.

Can we customize the route?

Yes — the route is a constructor: add locations, wineries and photo stops, or remove what you don’t need. Tell the manager your wishes.

What is included in the price?

Vehicle with a driver-guide and fuel. Entrance tickets, meals and local services (e.g., the 4x4 up to Gergeti) are extra; the manager lists costs in advance.

How long is a day tour?

Usually a full day — 8–10 hours depending on the route, road and stops. Morning departure is agreed around you.

What vehicle do we travel in?

A comfortable Mercedes van or an SUV — matched to your group size and route.

How do we get up to Gergeti Trinity Church?

A mountain road leads to the church; if needed, a local 4x4 is arranged on site — your guide handles it.

Is the Georgian Military Road safe in winter?

The pass can close temporarily in bad weather. We monitor the road: if it closes, we reschedule or offer an equal alternative route.

What should I bring?

ID, a warm layer (mountains are cooler even in summer), comfortable shoes, some cash GEL for souvenirs and lunch, sunglasses.

I get motion sickness on mountain roads — any advice?

Take motion-sickness tablets and sit in front. We make stops on request — just tell the driver.

Can children join?

Yes, tours are family-friendly. Need a child seat? Tell the manager in advance and we will prepare one.

What language does the guide speak?

Russian and English.

What happens in bad weather?

We reschedule the tour or switch to an equal alternative route — without losing your deposit. Safety beats the plan.

Do I need my passport for a Kazbegi tour?

Carry an ID: the Stepantsminda area is a border zone. Documents are rarely checked, but having them with you is the right move.

Your own route

We’ll build a tour around your dates and interests

Tell us what you want to see and how much time you have — we’ll suggest a route, transport and price. Prices on the site are indicative and may change with the season — the manager confirms the final amount on WhatsApp.
