Tbilisi — Borjomi — Bakuriani: Private One-Day Tour

It is a one-day format: you leave Tbilisi in the morning and return in the evening. Exact timing and mileage depend on the season, road conditions and the pace you agree on — confirmed at booking.

Your driver-guide picks you up at your hotel or address in Tbilisi. The start time is agreed at booking — there is no group timetable to stick to.

A comfortable private car with hotel pickup, an English- or Russian-speaking driver-guide, scenic routes and photo stops (time permitting), tour organisation and coordination, and WhatsApp support.

Meals and drinks at cafés, entrance tickets (if any at the locations), personal shopping and souvenirs, accommodation if you stay overnight, and optional activities in Bakuriani. All of these are paid separately on the spot.

989 GEL per car for 1–2 people and 1149 GEL per car for 3–4 people; an extra day costs 499 GEL more. The price is per vehicle, not per person, and already includes private transport and tour coordination.

A deposit secures your date: 300 GEL / 100 EUR per group. The balance is paid in cash on the tour day — to your driver or at Café Bar PILOT, depending on where the tour starts. The deposit can be paid by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, bank transfer or Bank of Georgia.

Just your party — up to 4 people in one comfortable car. No strangers, no buses. Tours are operated by licensed partner carriers and guides; SkyAtlantida organises and coordinates the trip.

The tour runs year-round: in summer you get greenery, walks and Borjomi park; in winter, a snowy Bakuriani and mountain-resort atmosphere. In winter we account for the actual weather, road conditions and Bakuriani's seasonal specifics; the driver-guide makes the final safety call on departure.

Comfortable walking shoes, a warm layer and a windbreaker (Bakuriani sits high and is noticeably cooler than Tbilisi), sunglasses, a bottle to fill with spring water and some cash for small purchases. In winter add a hat, gloves and non-slip footwear.

Yes, children travel with their parents — the route is relaxed with walks and stops. Tell us the group composition and the children's ages when booking: a child seat is provided on request, and we will plan a comfortable pace for the day.

The driver-guide works in English or Russian — let us know your preferred language when booking.

Yes, the private format lets you set the focus: more photo stops, more walking or a maximally relaxed pace. Stops outside the basic plan are agreed in advance within the day's logistics and timing.

Yes. Quad biking is the most relevant adventure add-on for this route, and Bakuriani offers activities year-round. All add-ons are booked and paid separately — mention them when booking.

If the tour is cancelled because of unsafe weather or for safety reasons, we reschedule it to another date free of charge. If rescheduling is impossible, the deposit is refunded minus payment-system fees within 5–10 business days.

If you cancel after confirmation, do not show up, or arrive so late that the tour cannot start as scheduled, the deposit is non-refundable. If your plans change, message us as early as possible and we will try to find a solution.

Message us on WhatsApp with the tour name, date, number of guests, your name and, optionally, your hotel for pickup. We reply daily from 09:00 to 21:00 (GMT+4), usually within ~30 minutes: we confirm availability, agree the details and send pre-departure instructions.

Yes: an extra day with an overnight in Bakuriani costs +499 GEL on top of the tour price — an unhurried second day, a mountain morning and more time for walks. Accommodation is paid separately; mention it when booking.

Yes, in Borjomi you taste the mineral water straight from the spring — warm, with a distinctive salty note, quite unlike the bottled version. Bring your own bottle to fill up.

Optionally, an authentic Georgian lunch at a cosy café en route or in Bakuriani; the driver-guide can suggest reliable places. Meals are not included and are paid on the spot.

The stretch between Borjomi and Bakuriani is a winding mountain road. If you are prone to motion sickness, take the front seat, take a tablet in advance and avoid a heavy meal before the drive. On a private tour we can always pause for a break.
