About the flight

Winter Adventure is flown over the Gudauri ski resort: take-off from the resort launch at 2700 m, a mandatory briefing before the start, a tandem flight with a licensed pilot and a landing at the official landing zone at about 2200 m.

It suits guests who prefer a brief flight while observing the winter mountain landscape from the air. Every tandem is equipped with a modern reserve parachute; the gear is checked before every take-off.

Winter Adventure: programme details

You have always been attracted by the idea of soaring in free flight above the clouds, but did you give up your dream because of the fear of heights? Especially for those who are terribly afraid of "flying", we have developed a short winter paragliding flight program over the Gudauri ski resort in Georgia! You will stay in the sky for only 5-7 minutes, but during this time you will be able to cope with your phobia and plunge headlong into the world of hitherto incomprehensible emotions and sensations.

Why paragliding?

Because tandem flying with an instructor is the safest way to overcome your fears. All SkyAtlantida team members are professional licensed pilots with 22+ years of paragliding experience. They know everything about their work and about your safety. Sitting behind the passenger, the instructor ensures his protection by skillfully controlling the aircraft and promptly responding to any changes during the free flight.

Each tandem is equipped with modern parachutes. Before each flight, the equipment is thoroughly tested for performance.

Features of a short winter paragliding flight

We start in the area of the Gudauri ski resort (altitude 2,750 meters above sea level).
Duration of stay in the air - from 5 to 7 minutes.
Landing is carried out at an altitude of 2,200 m.

Booking Features

To book your "air travel" online, leave a request on the website or contact your personal manager by phone or in messengers. Once you have chosen your preferred date, be ready to make your prepayment online and wait for your booking to be confirmed.

Departure time will be scheduled depending on weather conditions. At a personal meeting in the office on the day of the paragliding flight, you will pay the remaining amount.

Note! If the flight is canceled due to adverse weather conditions, we will refund your prepayment in full.

And do not forget that in the winter season tandem flights are available exclusively in the Georgian ski resort of Gudauri.

Questions about the “Winter Adventure” flight

Do I need training or experience?

No. It is a tandem flight: the pilot controls the wing while you enjoy the views. There is a short briefing before take-off; the gear is fitted and checked on site.

How long does the whole thing take?

up to 90 minutes from the meeting at Café Bar PILOT: settling up and choosing the format, transfer to the launch, briefing, 5–7 minutes in the air, landing and the transfer back.

Can children and older guests fly?

Children aged 5–16 fly accompanied by parents or legal guardians. Guests aged 60+ need a medical certificate. Passenger weight is 25–125 kg.

What if the weather turns bad?

We fly only in suitable conditions. If the weather says no, we reschedule your slot to the nearest window free of charge; if rescheduling is impossible, we refund the deposit (payment-system fees are withheld).

How do I book and how much do I pay upfront?

Write on WhatsApp or Telegram: date, number of guests and time. The manager confirms the slot and sends an invoice for a 95 GEL / €35 deposit per slot. The balance is paid on the day, on site, in cash (GEL) or by card.

What should I wear?

Closed shoes, a windbreaker or jacket, warm clothes in winter. It is cooler and windier at altitude. The helmet is included; a warm flight suit (95 GEL) and gloves (20 GEL) are available for an extra fee.

Will there be photos and video?

An HD 1920×1080 video of your flight is included. Professional photos, 4K/5K, 360° and drone filming are optional extras you can add on site.

How do I choose the flight format?

Can I give a flight as a gift?
