Before booking, it is important to understand how the rafting day is organized, what guests confirm by paying a deposit, what safety rules apply on site, and how transfer, timing, rescheduling, and refund logic work.

Role of SkyAtlantida

SkyAtlantida provides booking and organization services, including timing, communication, payment coordination, and guest support. The rafting activity itself is carried out by an independent local operating team and certified on-site instructors.

Activity risk

Rafting is an outdoor water activity with inherent risk. River current, slippery surfaces, rocks, weather changes, and unexpected movement of the raft are all part of the natural environment and must be understood before joining.

Personal insurance

Personal travel or activity insurance is strongly recommended. Guests are responsible for arranging their own coverage if they want additional protection for medical expenses, travel changes, or activity-related incidents.

Health disclosure

Guests must inform us in advance about relevant medical conditions, recent surgery, pregnancy, back or neck injuries, heart issues, epilepsy, mobility limitations, or any condition that may affect safe participation.

Sober condition

Participation is not allowed under the influence of alcohol or any substance that affects judgment, coordination, or behavior. The local team may refuse participation if a guest appears unsafe to join.

Arrival time

Please arrive at least 15-25 minutes before your confirmed time. This is important for check-in, gear fitting, briefing, and on-time departure. Late arrival can affect the whole group schedule.

Helmet and life jacket

Before departure, guests receive the required protective equipment. Depending on temperature and season, the local team may also provide additional water gear such as a wetsuit.

How to work as a team

The guide explains raft position, paddle commands, body movement, how to sit correctly, how to keep balance, and how guests should respond on calmer and more active parts of the river.

Water position and rescue logic

Guests are told what to do if they enter the water, how to stay calm, how to position the body, how to wait for instruction, and why following the guide’s command is critical in that moment.

Readiness check

The guide checks gear, guest readiness, river conditions, and whether the group can safely begin the planned route.

Guide instructions are mandatory

On the river, the instructor decides the operational rhythm, commands, and the safest way through each section. Guests must follow these instructions immediately and without argument.

The route may be changed

The local operating team may shorten the route, adjust the plan, delay the start, or cancel the activity if river, weather, or guest conditions are not suitable for safe operation.

By booking, the guest confirms that:

• they understand rafting involves natural outdoor risk;
• they are not under the influence of alcohol or drugs;
• they have disclosed important health limitations in advance;
• they will follow the guide’s instructions at all times;
• they will arrive on time for the confirmed slot;
• they understand river and weather conditions may affect the program;
• they accept that safety comes before schedule preference.

Participation may be limited if:

• the guest appears intoxicated or unsafe;
• important medical information was withheld;
• pregnancy or another serious contraindication applies;
• the guest ignores the mandatory briefing;
• river or weather conditions make the activity unsafe;
• the group arrives too late for a safe and properly organized start.

Deposit policy

The deposit reserves your slot, guest support, communication, and booking coordination. A booking is treated as confirmed once the details are agreed and the deposit is received.

By paying the deposit, the guest confirms acceptance of this page, the general site terms, and the fact that final safety decisions on the day are made by the local operating team.

If you are late

If you expect to be late, please inform us as early as possible. However, late arrival does not guarantee that the original slot can be held, especially on busy days when other groups are scheduled.

In case of major delay, the slot may be shortened, moved only if operationally possible, or treated as missed.

If conditions do not allow rafting

If rafting cannot be safely carried out due to weather, river level, operational safety, or another condition outside the guest’s control, we first offer rescheduling to the nearest suitable and available time.

If rescheduling is not possible, the deposit may be refunded minus any non-recoverable bank or payment processing fees that were actually charged.

If the issue is on the guest side

If guests cancel late, fail to arrive, arrive too late, hide important health limitations, appear intoxicated, or refuse to follow mandatory safety rules, the deposit is generally non-refundable.

This is because the time slot, organization effort, and daily operational capacity were already reserved for that booking.

Usually included

• helmet and life jacket;
• additional water gear if required by conditions;
• timing and logistics coordination.

Usually not included

• personal travel or activity insurance;
• transfer, unless booked separately;
• personal expenses outside the confirmed booking;
• bank and payment transfer fees;
• services not clearly listed in the booking confirmation.
