Access is opened to pilots on our XC trips when the trip is booked. The track assumes that the advanced course and SIV are already behind you: here we do not cover flying technique but how an XC day is put together.

How to study this module

Read the moduleTheory in plain language, with case studies, tables and “fine point for pros” blocks. The figures come from federation documents and manufacturers’ manuals, not from memory.

Take the module exam30 questions, 45 minutes, 80 % pass mark. Those who pass get a school certificate for the completed theory.
Fly the tripTheory comes before practice: you arrive at the trip already knowing what you will do and why. Clearance to fly is given by the guide.
