The Winter Adventure tandem paragliding flight is a short, introductory winter flight designed to offer guests a calm and controlled paragliding experience under professional supervision.

This flight is operated over the Gudauri ski resort and is suitable for guests who prefer a brief flight duration while observing winter mountain landscapes from the air.

Average flight duration: 5–7 minutes.

SkyAtlantida operates as a registered commercial adventure tourism provider in Georgia.
All flights are conducted with certified tandem pilots, approved equipment, and in accordance with local regulations and international paragliding safety standards.

Details

We fly all year round in the resort of Gudauri, Jvari Cross Pass and (Kazbegi) - Stepantsminda. All SkyAtlantida employees are Europeans with higher education, they speak Russian and English.

All flights are conducted in accordance with the rules and regulations of the IPHFG. Our team leaders pilots are multiple champions of Europe and Asia, they have Swiss, Ukrainian, Georgian licenses confirming their qualifications. Flight equipment undergoes daily inspection and timely replacement, and pilots undergo daily medical control. For flights, we use only safe launch pads.

To book paragliding with SkyAtlantida company, you need to contact our manager in a way convenient for you (WhatsApp, Viber, Telegram). After agreeing on all the details and making an advance payment, you will be included in the schedule and our pilot instructor will be waiting for you at the appointed time.

Paragliding in Georgia has become a place of income and fraud for intermediary and inexperienced pilots. Intermediaries wear colorful paraglider T-shirts to attract attention and may promise you a lower price or more flight time (official companies have fixed prices and flight times). Sometimes the intermediary can be your taxi driver, a tour guide or an employee of the hotel where you are staying.

The danger is that the intermediary, in order to earn money, uses the service of «pilots» who do not have enough paragliding experience and licenses confirming their qualifications. Such «pilots» charge a minimal fee for providing their services, and practice on you without any liability. As a result, you will be disappointed with low-quality service, often accompanied by poor video quality, and sometimes no video at all, bad takeoff — landing…

"Winter adventure" short winter paragliding flight in Georgia

You have always been attracted by the idea of soaring in free flight above the clouds, but did you give up your dream because of the fear of heights? Especially for those who are terribly afraid of "flying", we have developed a short winter paragliding flight program over the Gudauri ski resort in Georgia! You will stay in the sky for only 5-7 minutes, but during this time you will be able to cope with your phobia and plunge headlong into the world of hitherto incomprehensible emotions and sensations.

Why paragliding?

Because tandem flying with an instructor is the safest way to overcome your fears. All SkyAtlantida team members are professional licensed pilots with 22+ years of paragliding experience. They know everything about their work and about your safety. Sitting behind the passenger, the instructor ensures his protection by skillfully controlling the aircraft and promptly responding to any changes during the free flight.

Each tandem is equipped with modern parachutes. Before each flight, the equipment is thoroughly tested for performance.

Features of a short winter paragliding flight

1. We start in the area of the Gudauri ski resort (altitude 2,750 meters above sea level).
2. Duration of stay in the air - from 5 to 7 minutes.
3. Landing is carried out at an altitude of 2,200 m.

Note! The height of the start and landing directly depends on the weather.

The Winter Adventure program is available from December 10 to April 15.

Booking Features

To book your "air travel" online, leave a request on the website or contact your personal manager by phone or in messengers. Once you have chosen your preferred date, be ready to make your prepayment online and wait for your booking to be confirmed.

Departure time will be scheduled depending on weather conditions. At a personal meeting in the office on the day of the paragliding flight, you will pay the remaining amount.

Note! If the flight is canceled due to adverse weather conditions, we will refund your prepayment in full.

And do not forget that in the winter season tandem flights are available exclusively in the Georgian ski resort of Gudauri.
