Especially for those who are very afraid of flying, but would like to overcome this fear and discover themselves from the other side, we have created a “winter adventure”. This is the shortest type of flight, 3 – 5 minutes in the air!
Let yourself plunge into the world of unforgettable emotions, feel like a soaring bird for a moment.

Details

We fly all year round in the resort of Gudauri, Jvari Cross Pass and (Kazbegi) - Stepantsminda. All SkyAtlantida employees are Europeans with higher education, they speak Russian and English.

All flights are conducted in accordance with the rules and regulations of the IPHFG. Our team leaders pilots are multiple champions of Europe and Asia, they have Swiss, Ukrainian, Georgian licenses confirming their qualifications. Flight equipment undergoes daily inspection and timely replacement, and pilots undergo daily medical control. For flights, we use only safe launch pads.

To book paragliding with SkyAtlantida company, you need to contact our manager in a way convenient for you (WhatsApp, Viber, Telegram). After agreeing on all the details and making an advance payment, you will be included in the schedule and our pilot instructor will be waiting for you at the appointed time.

Entry Requirements:
— Passengers aged 5 -16 and above are welcome when accompanied by parents or legal guardians.

Weight Surcharge:
— A surcharge of + 50 GEL applies to passengers weighing over 80 kg.
— For passengers exceeding 100 kg, a surcharge of +100 GEL is applicable.
— For passengers over 120 kg, please contact us in advance.

Additional Thrills:
— Extra advanced air maneuver are available for +50 GEL.

Photo and Video Extras:
— Professional photographs by GoPro 11 Black Edition or iPhone can be ordered for +50 GEL.
— 4K | 5K video by GoPro 11 Black Edition is available for an extra charge of +50 GEL.
— Immersive 5.7K spherical video by Insta 360x3 +100 GEL.

Ascent to Starting Point:
— Convenient 4x4 service to\from the takeoff \ landing zone area + 50 GEL (per person)
— Ski lift to the launch pad: +14 GEL per 1 ride per person.
— Snowmobile ascent to 2700 meters (20 minutes of adrenaline): +289 GEL per person.
— Snowmobile ascent to 3006 meters (30 minutes of excitement): +419 GEL per person.

Do not trust people on the street offering you paragliding! Read reviews on the Internet, make your own choice!

Paragliding in Georgia has become a place of income and fraud for intermediary and inexperienced pilots. Intermediaries wear colorful paraglider T-shirts to attract attention and may promise you a lower price or more flight time (official companies have fixed prices and flight times). Sometimes the intermediary can be your taxi driver, a tour guide or an employee of the hotel where you are staying.

The danger is that the intermediary, in order to earn money, uses the service of “pilots” who do not have enough paragliding experience and licenses confirming their qualifications. Such “pilots” charge a minimal fee for providing their services, and practice on you without any liability. As a result, you will be disappointed with low-quality service, often accompanied by poor video quality, and sometimes no video at all, bad takeoff – landing…

Paragliding in Georgia should be the highlight of your trip, so it’s best to check any recommendations from your guide with reviews of the company on independent platforms e.g. TripAdvisor.

"Winter adventure" short winter paragliding flight in Georgia

You have always been attracted by the idea of soaring in free flight above the clouds, but did you give up your dream because of the fear of heights? Especially for those who are terribly afraid of "flying", we have developed a short winter paragliding flight program over the Gudauri ski resort in Georgia! You will stay in the sky for only 3-5 minutes, but during this time you will be able to cope with your phobia and plunge headlong into the world of hitherto incomprehensible emotions and sensations.

Why paragliding?

Because tandem flying with an instructor is the safest way to overcome your fears. All SkyAtlantida team members are professional licensed pilots with 22+ years of paragliding experience. They know everything about their work and about your safety. Sitting behind the passenger, the instructor ensures his protection by skillfully controlling the aircraft and promptly responding to any changes during the free flight.

Each tandem is equipped with modern parachutes. Before each flight, the equipment is thoroughly tested for performance.

Features of a short winter paragliding flight

1. We start in the area of the Gudauri ski resort (altitude 2,750 meters above sea level).
2. Duration of stay in the air - from 3 to 5 minutes.
3. Landing is carried out at an altitude of 2,200 m.

Note! The height of the start and landing directly depends on the weather.

The Winter Adventure program is available from December 10 to April 15.

The price of a winter paragliding flight in Georgia is $135.

Booking Features

To book your "air travel" online, leave a request on the website or contact your personal manager by phone or in messengers. Once you have chosen your preferred date, be ready to make your prepayment online and wait for your booking to be confirmed.

Departure time will be scheduled depending on weather conditions. At a personal meeting in the office on the day of the paragliding flight, you will pay the remaining amount.

Note! If the flight is canceled due to adverse weather conditions, we will refund your prepayment in full.

And do not forget that in the winter season tandem flights are available exclusively in the Georgian ski resort of Gudauri.
