About this page

Why this page matters

This page is designed to help guests clearly understand the main participation terms for skydiving in Georgia: guest eligibility, possible limitations, the nature of the activity, weather dependency, rescheduling logic, deposit refund rules and what your consent means before payment.

SkyAtlantida provides booking and organization services for outdoor experiences in Georgia. We help guests choose a suitable format, coordinate the preferred date, collect the required booking details and communicate the request to the independent operator.

By making a payment, you confirm that you have reviewed this page, understand the nature of the activity, the related risks, and accept the stated participation, safety and deposit terms.

Not a sales-only page

This page exists to explain participation conditions clearly, not to make unrealistic promises.

Activity with inherent risk

Skydiving is an active experience and involves objective risks that cannot be fully removed.

Honest disclosure matters

Before booking, it is important to provide accurate information about age, weight and health condition.

Weather determines timing

Weather conditions define whether there is waiting, rescheduling, a new slot or a deposit refund.

Eligibility

Basic participation requirements

A booking request can only be considered if the participant meets the basic preliminary conditions. Final confirmation always depends on the operator’s decision, weather conditions, equipment parameters and verification of participant details.

Age

Minimum and acceptable age are determined by the operator and current safety rules. Proof of age may be requested before participation.

Weight

A working pre-check range is usually around 35 kg to 100 kg. Final approval depends on body proportions, harness fit and the conditions of the day.

General condition

The participant must be physically and mentally able to understand the briefing, follow instructions and take part in the activity responsibly.

Medical information

What should be disclosed before booking

Before participation is confirmed, it is important to disclose any current, past, suspected or recurring health conditions that may affect the safety of the jump, tolerance to altitude, rapid descent, parachute opening and landing.

If needed, the operator may request written medical clearance. If the participant’s condition changes before the activity date, this must be reported again.

Examples of conditions that should be disclosed

  • heart, lung, brain or nervous system conditions
  • epilepsy, fainting, vertigo or seizures
  • high blood pressure
  • serious injuries to the head, neck, back or joints
  • shoulder dislocation or limb instability
  • asthma or chronic respiratory problems
  • ear, sinus or pressure-related issues
  • diabetes, anemia or endocrine disorders
  • mental conditions affecting informed consent or safe participation
  • pregnancy, suspected pregnancy, recent surgery or serious recent injury

Participant confirmation

  • you provide accurate health-related information
  • you understand that hiding important details may lead to cancellation
  • you understand that the final approval decision belongs to the operator
  • you agree to report any changes in your condition before the jump
  • you understand that even medical clearance does not make the activity risk-free
Safety rules

On the activity day, the participant must

What is required

  • arrive on time and remain reachable before the start
  • follow all instructions from the operator and instructor
  • complete weight and equipment fit checks
  • wear suitable clothing and closed shoes
  • immediately report any weakness, pain, anxiety or unwell feeling
  • sign required briefings, waivers or declarations on site if requested

What is not allowed

  • alcohol or prohibited substances before the activity
  • withholding important medical information
  • participation while feeling unwell or with suspected pregnancy
  • ignoring body position, landing or briefing instructions
  • assuming that a confirmed booking time always means immediate takeoff with no delay

If you had scuba diving, a serious physical load, an injury or an illness shortly before the activity, please report it in advance. This helps coordinate participation more safely.

Risk notice

Skydiving is an activity with objective risks

Even when performed by professionals with appropriate equipment, skydiving remains an activity with inherent risks. These may relate to altitude gain, pressure change, freefall, parachute deployment, landing, weather, human factors, the participant’s physical response or other circumstances.

The participant understands that stress, physical discomfort, bruising, worsening of existing health issues, injuries of different severity and other adverse outcomes cannot be fully excluded.

Nothing on this page should be interpreted as a promise that the activity is risk-free.

Weather and timing

Weather dependency, rescheduling and deposit refund policy

Skydiving depends on wind, visibility, cloud cover, precipitation, safety decisions, aircraft schedule, airfield operation and other operational factors. Because of this, even a confirmed booking does not mean an unconditional immediate start.

If weather conditions are not suitable, the activity may be delayed, moved to the nearest available time or rescheduled to another date. Standard practice is to wait for safer weather and offer the closest available slot that works operationally and realistically.

Deposit rule

The deposit is refundable only if the activity cannot be carried out specifically because of unfavorable weather, and the proposed reschedule or nearest new slot does not work for you.

If the participant cancels for personal reasons, the deposit is non-refundable.

Personal costs related to travel, accommodation, transfers or changes in your private schedule are not part of the service and must be managed independently.

Booking logic

How participation is confirmed

Step 1

You send the preferred date, number of participants, age and approximate weight.

Step 2

SkyAtlantida coordinates the booking request with the independent operator.

Step 3

After preliminary approval, a booking payment or deposit request is shared.

Step 4

Final participation depends on verified details, the participant’s condition and the operator’s decision on the day.

By paying for the booking, you confirm that:

  • you are purchasing a booking and organization service
  • you have reviewed the participation and safety conditions
  • you understand that the activity itself is carried out by an independent operator
  • you agree that final participation depends on approval and real conditions of the day
  • you understand the rescheduling and weather-related deposit refund logic
Rescheduling and cancellation

If participation cannot take place

If the reason is weather or safety

If the activity cannot proceed because of weather or due to the operator’s safety decision, the participant is first offered the nearest available time or a new date. If that option is not suitable, the deposit is refunded.

If the cancellation comes from the participant

If participation is canceled by the participant because of personal reasons, changed plans, late arrival, failure to meet conditions or any reason not related to weather, the deposit is non-refundable.

For clarity, it is best to keep all booking details, waiting logic, weather-related updates and final date confirmations documented in the chat before payment.

Can I participate if I have medical limitations?

Possibly, but only after disclosure and only if the operator approves participation. In some cases, written medical clearance may be requested.

Why do you ask for age and weight in advance?

These details are needed for a preliminary eligibility check and to coordinate the request with the operator.

What happens if the weather changes?

The activity may be delayed, moved to the nearest available time, rescheduled to another date or canceled for safety reasons.
