Terms, Liability & Client Responsibility
SkyRent SkyAtlantida
These Terms & Conditions govern the rental of ski and snowboard equipment provided by SkyRent SkyAtlantida.
⚠️ Important Notice
By making a reservation, paying in advance, providing an identification document, or receiving rental equipment, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and fully accepted these Terms & Conditions without exception.
🧾 1. General Client Responsibility
The client assumes full financial responsibility for all rented equipment from the moment it is handed over until it is returned and inspected by SkyRent SkyAtlantida staff.
🔐 As a guarantee of responsibility and payment obligations, the client provides a valid government-issued identification document, such as:

a passport, or
-
a national ID card
The identification document is securely held by SkyRent SkyAtlantida for the entire rental period and is returned only after the equipment has been returned and confirmed to be in proper condition.
📸 2. Equipment Condition at Handover
Before the start of the rental:
-
the equipment is visually inspected
-
photos and/or video are taken to document its condition
📌 This photo and video documentation constitutes the official condition record of the equipment at the time of handover.
If the client notices any issues or defects, they must be reported before skiing or snowboarding begins.
Claims made after use has started will not be accepted.
✅ 3. Normal Rental Wear (Not Charged)
Normal rental wear includes:

minor surface scratches on the base
-
light edge marks
-
cosmetic signs of regular use
-
loss of factory finish or shine
🟢 These are considered normal and are not subject to any charges.
❌ 4. Damage (Charged)
Damage includes, but is not limited to:
-
deep base scratches or core shots
-
damage caused by rocks
-
bent, cracked, or pulled-out edges
-
chips, cracks, or delamination
-
binding damage
-
broken or deformed ski or snowboard boots
-
misuse or use outside intended conditions
💰 All damage is payable by the client in full
according to the SkyRent SkyAtlantida Ski Service Price List,
provided below on this page
(Appendix: Repair & Compensation Costs).
If the equipment cannot be repaired, full replacement compensation applies.
🪨 5. Rocks & Low-Snow Conditions
⚠️ EXTREMELY IMPORTANT
The client acknowledges that Gudauri may have:
-
low-snow areas
-
exposed rocks, especially early or late in the season
🚫 If rocks are visible, the client must:
-
remove skis or snowboard
-
walk through the hazardous section
Riding directly over rocks is considered gross negligence and results in full financial liability for resulting damage.
🚫 6. Prohibited Use
❗ STRICTLY PROHIBITED
Rental equipment must NOT be used:
-
in terrain parks
-
on rails, boxes, pipes, or metal features
-
on asphalt, rocks, roads, or artificial surfaces
-
for jibbing, park riding, or tricks
🎯 Rental equipment is not park equipment, unless explicitly agreed in advance.
🔧 7. Repairs & Equipment Downtime
In the event of damage, the client agrees to pay:
-
the full cost of repair
-
downtime costs if the equipment cannot be rented to other clients
⏳ Repairs are not performed overnight.
Damaged equipment may be unavailable for rental on the following day.
🪪 8. Identification Document as Payment Guarantee
⚠️ KEY LEGAL SECTION
The client understands and agrees that:

a cash deposit does not cover the potential cost of serious damage or full equipment replacement
-
therefore, a government-issued identification document is used as a guarantee of payment obligations
By providing a passport or ID card, the client confirms:
-
their financial responsibility and ability to pay
-
acceptance of the SkyRent SkyAtlantida Ski Service price list
-
agreement to cover repair or replacement costs if required
❌ In case of refusal to pay, the identification document will not be returned until the matter is fully resolved.
🚨 9. Failure to Return Equipment or Refusal to Pay
In the event of:
-
failure to return rental equipment
-
refusal to pay for damage or replacement
SkyRent SkyAtlantida reserves the right to:
-
retain the client’s identification document
-
contact local authorities
-
initiate legal action in accordance with Georgian law

🤝 Final Statement
SkyRent SkyAtlantida operates professionally, transparently, and fairly.
Our goal is not penalties, but responsible use of professional rental equipment.
🟢 If the equipment is used carefully and respectfully,
no additional charges will apply.
