We fly all year round in the resort of Gudauri, Jvari Cross Pass and (Kazbegi) - Stepantsminda. All SkyAtlantida employees are Europeans with higher education, they speak Russian and English.

All flights are conducted in accordance with the rules and regulations of the IPHFG. Our team leaders pilots are multiple champions of Europe and Asia, they have Swiss, Ukrainian, Georgian licenses confirming their qualifications. Flight equipment undergoes daily inspection and timely replacement, and pilots undergo daily medical control. For flights, we use only safe launch pads.

After agreeing on all the details and making an advance payment, you will be included in the schedule and our pilot instructor will be waiting for you at the appointed time.

Paragliding in Georgia has become a place of income and fraud for intermediary and inexperienced pilots. Intermediaries wear colorful paraglider T-shirts to attract attention and may promise you a lower price or more flight time (official companies have fixed prices and flight times). Sometimes the intermediary can be your taxi driver, a tour guide or an employee of the hotel where you are staying.

The danger is that the intermediary, in order to earn money, uses the service of «pilots» who do not have enough paragliding experience and licenses confirming their qualifications. Such «pilots» charge a minimal fee for providing their services, and practice on you without any liability. As a result, you will be disappointed with low-quality service, often accompanied by poor video quality, and sometimes no video at all, bad takeoff — landing…

Winter paragliding - paragliding over the canyon in Georgia

We invite guests of the SkyAtlantida Club to a fascinating air ride over the Caucasus Mountains. Together with a professional pilot-instructor you will make an unforgettable exciting tandem paragliding flight over the canyon of the Aragvi River in Georgia. You will smoothly take off on a tandem and slowly soar, descending lower and lower, to the mouth of a seething river, fly over the entire famous resort of Gudauri, appreciate the power of rocks and formidable gorges, plunge into history, contemplating the grandeur of ancient castles, feel the power of a high-mountainous waterfall.

Paragliding over the canyon will give you a feeling of freedom. You will see beautiful Georgia from a bird's eye view. And everything that will surround you, inspiring and filling you with wonderful unknown emotions, you can capture on camera.

Features of paragliding over the canyon of the Aragvi River in Georgia

1. The duration of the adventure in the air will be approximately 15 - 25 minutes.
2. The launch pad is located in the Gudauri region at an altitude of 2300 m - 3006 m.
3. The flight is carried out in close proximity to rocky cliffs and one of the highest waterfalls in the region.
4. The length of the route is 5 km.
5. Landing is planned in the most picturesque place - the Aragvi canyon at an altitude of 1560 - 2200 meters above sea level.

Important! The way back from the canyon goes along the serpentine of mountains and takes about 40 minutes. And if the weather conditions are favorable, then the pilot will land at the Gudauri resort at the request of the guest.

This type of paragliding is available from 10 December to 15 April. The price of a flight over the canyon on a paraglider is $269
