Details

We fly all year round in the resort of Gudauri, Jvari Cross Pass and (Kazbegi) - Stepantsminda. All SkyAtlantida employees are Europeans with higher education, they speak Russian and English.

All flights are conducted in accordance with the rules and regulations of the IPHFG. Our team leaders pilots are multiple champions of Europe and Asia, they have Swiss, Ukrainian, Georgian licenses confirming their qualifications. Flight equipment undergoes daily inspection and timely replacement, and pilots undergo daily medical control. For flights, we use only safe launch pads.

To book paragliding with SkyAtlantida company, you need to contact our manager in a way convenient for you (WhatsApp, Viber, Telegram). After agreeing on all the details and making an advance payment, you will be included in the schedule and our pilot instructor will be waiting for you at the appointed time.

Entry Requirements:
— Passengers aged 5 -16 and above are welcome when accompanied by parents or legal guardians.

Weight Surcharge:
— A surcharge of + 50 GEL applies to passengers weighing over 80 kg.
— For passengers exceeding 100 kg, a surcharge of +100 GEL is applicable.
— For passengers over 120 kg, please contact us in advance.

— Extra advanced air maneuver are available for +50 GEL.

Do not trust people on the street offering you paragliding! Read reviews on the Internet, make your own choice!

Paragliding in Georgia has become a place of income and fraud for intermediary and inexperienced pilots. Intermediaries wear colorful paraglider T-shirts to attract attention and may promise you a lower price or more flight time (official companies have fixed prices and flight times). Sometimes the intermediary can be your taxi driver, a tour guide or an employee of the hotel where you are staying.

The danger is that the intermediary, in order to earn money, uses the service of “pilots” who do not have enough paragliding experience and licenses confirming their qualifications. Such “pilots” charge a minimal fee for providing their services, and practice on you without any liability. As a result, you will be disappointed with low-quality service, often accompanied by poor video quality, and sometimes no video at all, bad takeoff – landing…

Peculiarities of sightseeing paragliding flight in Georgia

1. You will start from a height of 2100 m - 2750 m above sea level.
2. Length of the route - 6 km.
3. Landing takes place in the Aragvi canyon, at the Jvari cross pass or at the Gudauri resort (at an altitude of 1560 m - 2300 m), depending on the weather. If it is clear and sunny, you and your pilot will soar up to the clouds, in cloudy weather - do a sightseeing paragliding flight along the waterfall and over the cliffs of the rocks.

The offer is available from April 16 to November 15. In terms of time, the program takes no more than 45 minutes from the moment the guest meets the instructor. The price of a sightseeing flight is $229.

Note! When planning a tandem trip, remember that at altitude you will encounter fairly strong gusts of wind and cooler weather conditions.

A few words about the safety of tandem flights with the SkyAtlantida team

Each flight is made in tandem - passenger + instructor. The equipment used by our pilots is certified by specialized companies and undergoes regular performance checks. Only qualified specialists with appropriate permits and all necessary documents are allowed to work. Moreover, the pilots regularly undergo medical examinations, are in excellent physical shape, and therefore confidently lift our guests into the air. Weather conditions are checked before takeoff, during climb, and also before the flight itself.

How to become a member of the program?

1. Decide on the date of the flight and the program
2. Contact your personal manager via messengers, by phone or leave an online request, we will contact you on our own
3. The consultant will tell you all the details of the upcoming tour and answer all your questions
4. You make an online prepayment and receive a booking confirmation for a tandem paragliding sightseeing flight
5. You pay the remaining funds at a personal meeting with our employee in the company's office

Important! In case of adverse weather, air walks are canceled and the prepayment is returned to the client.
