Water safety: rules of behaviour and necessary skills for rafting
Rafting is a thrilling and exciting adventure that attracts outdoor enthusiasts from all over the world. However, in addition to the adrenaline rush, rafting carries certain risks, and safety on the water becomes an important aspect of this exciting activity. In this article we will look at the basic safety rules and necessary skills for those who are about to embark on a rafting trip.
Equipment and outfitting:
First of all, it is important to choose the right equipment. Each participant must be equipped with a lifejacket, which must be securely fastened. A helmet should also be used to protect the head from hitting rocks or other obstacles. Whenever possible, sunglasses should also be worn and special footwear that locks the foot well and does not slip on wet surfaces.
