High-altitude paragliding in Georgia

In terms of time, a high-altitude paragliding flight is from 8 to 50 minutes, depending on the length of the route. The start takes place from a prepared safe platform at an altitude of 2100 m - 2400 m above sea level. Depending on the chosen program, the aircraft will take you to the Aragvi canyon, the Cross Pass, the mighty mountains of the Caucasus or demonstrate the most picturesque landscapes of the famous Georgian resort.

All high-altitude paragliding flights in the sky of Georgia are carried out together with an experienced certified instructor pilot. It is incredibly convenient, comfortable and most importantly, safe. The pilot takes over the entire technical part, and the passenger, sitting in front of the instructor, can 100% surrender to his feelings, enjoying the indescribable views and living each new emotion.
Thrill-seekers can ask the pilot to perform acrobatic stunts in the air. At a time when a professional performs aerobatics, you can feel the flight in zero gravity and get a breath of real high-quality adrenaline.
How much does high altitude paragliding cost?
Our company offers more than a dozen unique routes that differ in length and visited locations. The price of paragliding flights varies according to the chosen tour. At the same time, regardless of the type of air excursion, a number of services are already included in the price:
- transfer to the airstrip and back to the tourist area;
- equipment, special clothing, personal protective equipment;
- obligatory insurance;
- flight equipment;
- the flight itself, lasting from 8 to 60 minutes.
Note! HD video recording is also already included in the price of a high-altitude paragliding flight over the legendary resort of Georgia. And this means that all emotions will remain not only in memory, but also on film, and you, if necessary, will be able to relive those very vivid sensations again.
Start and landing for high-altitude paragliding
This technique starts from a prepared site in Gudauri, where SkyAtlantida guests are delivered by special vehicles. After a brief briefing and preparation of the aircraft, pilot and passenger, the tandem performs a short run. The paraglider begins to rise under the influence of air currents running under the wing. There is nothing complicated in this process, you won’t be scared either: the main thing is to listen and clearly follow all the instructor’s commands and continue moving forward until the feet leave the ground.
Legs should be raised when landing. After the device comes to a complete stop, the instructor will ask you to take a few steps back or forward. That's all!
